Elle fut la fille de Katsia II Dadiani.
Elle fut la dernière reine du royaume géorgien occidental d'Iméréthie en tant qu'épouse du roi Salomon II.

1810, après la conquête russe d'Iméréthie et la fuite de son mari Salomon vers l'Empire ottoman, elle fut aux mains des autorités russes qui l'envoyèrent en exil dans l'Empire russe où elle fut connue sous le nom de Maria Katsievna Imeretinskaïa.
