Третий сын княжеской четы Сергей родился в 1906 г. в Выборге. В Финляндии он работал на бумажной фабрике, потом нанялся на китобойное судно и через некоторое время попал в Южную Америку, где стал преуспевающим бизнесменом в области тяжелого машиностроения. В Финляндию ездил и по делам, и на отдых. Женат не был, детей не имел. Умер в 1995 г. в Аргентине.
